These are really nice on a hot summer day, very refreshing. They will sneak up on you though.

My recipe for Sea Breeze uses a higher proportion of cranberry juice than the typical sea breeze and I add lime juice and cut limes.  I use Smirnoff vodka for mixing, I can't taste the difference using more expensive vodkas, but the inexpensive vodkas have a petroleum like taste to me. 

Sea Breeze by the pitcher

32oz Grapefruit juice
32oz Cranberry juice
2oz  Lime juice
12oz Vodka (this is a good start) <G>

Pour all ingredients into pitcher, stir, fill with ice. Add sliced lime on top of ice. 

Pour into ice filled glasses and garnish with a lime slice.

SEA BREEZE 

1 1/2 ounces vodka 
2 ounces grapefruit juice 
3 ounces cranberry juice 
Lime slice 

Pour the vodka, grapefruit and cranberry juices into a highball glass almost filled
with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with lime slice. 

Serves 1.

     splash of cranberry juice

     1 1/2oz Vodka
     1oz grapefruit juice

     flash blend over ice garnished with a lime slice

               6.5 oz.  Grapefruit Juice
               1.5 oz.  Vodka
 Directions:
               stir in highball glass

              2.0 oz  Cranberry juice
              2.0 oz  Grapefruit Juice
              1.0 oz  Malibu Rum
